This training is subsidised by the NSW Government (NSW Smart and Skilled Adult and Community Education (ACE) Community Service Obligation (CSO) Program) for eligible participants. Please phone the College on 4353 0017 to check your eligibility.

This is Part 2 of a subsidised course that includes six (6) accredited units from the business services training package. This program offers a pathway into business employment and is suitable for people who wish to pursue a future job role as, but not limited to: customer service advisor, office administrator, receptionist, general clerk.

Outcomes/Benefits

This course provides support and foundation training to help people find a job and advance their careers. Participants may include:

  • People who are long-term unemployed
  • Commonwealth welfare recipients and their dependants
  • Young people (15-17 years of age) who are at risk of not making a successful transition from school to further training or work
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
  • Students with a disability
  • Migrants/refugees who are unemployed or underemployed
  • People with other barriers to the Smart and Skilled entitlement program
  • People in regional and remote communities where training under the Smart and Skilled entitlement program cannot easily be accessed.

  • Workbooks are supplied.
  • On commencement, students will be provided with further details on course requirements.
