Have you always wanted to learn a second language? Whether you’re planning a trip, need to improve your resume, impress overseas customers or simply have a passion for all things exotic, learning a language will open doors to new people and places. Our language classes are run in a relaxed and informal manner by friendly native-speaking instructors who will teach you the practical skills of the language combined with a basic knowledge of grammar and a glimpse into the culture and customs of their country.

Our 8 week language courses offer:

  • Classes designed specifically for Travel or Conversation
  • Beginners classes that build a solid foundation (Level 1)
  • Graded levels so you can seamlessly continue your study (Levels 2-12)

Please note: You may be required to purchase a textbook for some language courses. Please check before enrolling.


Level 1 covers the basics of the Spanish language – an understanding of the Spanish language, pronunciation and cultural facts. The content is sometimes varied slightly to suit the students in each course, but the basic lesson plan is:
Week 1: Alphabet – Vowels – Formal & Informal – Greetings
Week 2: Nationalities – Meeting People – Questions – Sentences
Week 3 : Verbs – Dialogue
Week 4: Nouns – Gender = Feminine & Masculine – Colours
Week 5: Cognates
Week 6: Numbers – Days – Months
Week 7: Times
Week 8: Tongue Twisters – Songs etc

What to Bring

  • Pen and paper.
  • If you decide to continue to Spanish Level 2 you will be required to purchase a textbook at that time. Your tutor will discuss this with you during the Level 1 course.
