Our language classes are run in a relaxed and informal manner by friendly native-speaking instructors who will teach you the practical skills of the language combined with a basic knowledge of grammar and a glimpse into the culture and customs of their country.

Content

This course covers the basics of the Spanish language – an understanding of the Spanish language, pronunciation and cultural facts. The content is sometimes varied slightly to suit the students in each course, but the basic lesson plan is:
Week 1: Alphabet – Vowels – Formal & Informal – Greetings
Week 2: Nationalities – Meeting People – Questions – Sentences
Week 3 : Verbs – Dialogue
Week 4: Nouns – Gender = Feminine & Masculine – Colours
Week 5: Cognates
Week 6: Numbers – Days – Months
Week 7: Times
Week 8: Revision
